My sewing area is much better organized than it was this morning -- at the very least, it no longer looks like it was struck by a tornado. I have been working on so many projects, and have our guild's Project Linus fabrics, too, and all that stuff was overwhelming. I just couldn't get anything done in there. I cleaned up and did lots of tasks that were 5 or 10 minutes (trimmed some blocks, cut foundation squares, etc.) and then put things in their own boxes. Now there's a little space for the creative juices to flow.
Enjoy the weekend! I'll be in Chicago tomorrow and can't wait!

I love the little flowers - they're darling! I'm making tons of little hexagons right now, with cheery fabric from my stash. It's nice to be doing some hand-work after all the machine piecing.
I need to follow your example and organize my sewing room. I've got stuff from hell to breakfast, as my Mom used to say!
Hope you had fun in Chicago.
I adore your little flowers! Got to figure out how to make some of those! Wouldn't one of those be super as a topper on a pin cushion? Uh oh -- ideas. I am trying to stay focused on one thing at a time and here you go -- giving me more ideas! ;-)
It does feel good to get organized - kind of provides the infrastructure for creativity, I think! I can go for only so long feeling things kind of slipping through my fingers and then I have to stop and reclaim my space! I always hate to take the time - and I'm always glad I did! Congratulations!
Adorable flowers! I'd love to know how you made those. Are you going to sew them onto a quilt top? I want to do that!
Have Fun in Chigago!
Thanks for sharing a sneak peek with us. The flowers look great! I love the colors and can't wait to see the finished quilt. Have fun in Chicago this weekend!
OOOO AHHHH...too cute!! I'm sure your partner is going to love this!
Cute - love those oranges!
Checking out your site for more hints and peeks...wow!!! These little flowers are d-a-r-l-i-n-g! I am overwhelmed by the amount of work you have put into this swap and thrilled beyond thrilled to have this little doll quilt come to live at my house!
